The AWE-pera Chorus

The AWE-pera Chorus is a new partnership between Cimarron Opera and the Adult Wellness & Education Center, bringing together singers ages 50 and older to explore and perform some of opera’s most beloved chorus numbers. Meeting weekly at the AWE, the chorus learns directly from Cimarron Opera’s Music Director Kevin W. Smith and discovers the joy and community that singing together can bring.

Join the AWE-pera Chorus!

Starting February 6, the chorus meets every Friday from 10-11:30am at the Adult Wellness & Education Center. Led by Cimarron Opera Music Director Kevin Smith, the AWE-pera Chorus is free and open to all adults 50 and older—no experience required, just a love of music and a willingness to join in the fun! You do not need to be an AWE member to participate; the chorus is open to the entire community. Come sing with us and be part of something truly uplifting!
