Opera for Oklahoma since 1975

Founded by internationally acclaimed performers and University of Oklahoma professors Thomas Carey and Carol Brice Carey, Cimarron Opera creates opportunities for emerging artists while bringing engaging, accessible opera to audiences across Oklahoma.

Today, Cimarron Opera continues that legacy through professional and community performances, youth education, creative-aging programs, and opportunities for Oklahoma artists and technicians.
